Presidential Inguration 2009 : Barack Obama

Finally Obama had become the President of US on 20th Jan.

*According to US constitution, election should be conducted once in 4 years ( not 5 years) for presidentship, it should be conducted in November (fixed ) and new president should take over on 20th Jan ( fixed )

*20 lakhs exordinarily deciplined people in the freezing temperature gathered at National mall in open air and witnessed, 4000 tiolets were erected.Umbrella was not allowed.

*Morning Obama family attended service at St John's Church and met President Bush at Blueroom in the White house for breakfast.

*In the National Mall which is 1.73 miles from white house the Inauguration was arranged. From white House Bush and Obama travelled together in a car to Mall.

*Spectacular Inauguration took place.wearing a bullet proof jacket, standing in a protective glass shield, Obama delivered his dynamic speech for 18 minutes, attended by Ex presidents , Hoolywood stars, foreign dignitaries etc. There were 10 jumbo screens for the people to watch.

*Obama took oath of office on the Bible used by Abraham Lincoln. Mrs Obama was holding the Bible, Supre court judge administered the oath.

*Then , there was a lunch for 200 members of congress attended by Obama, in the lunch, Abraham Lincoln's favourite menu was served with sea food starter.

*Just before the lunch, Bush left in a helicopter to White house and then immediately vacated White house and left to Texas in a special plane.It happened within a hour.

* Then started the Inaugural parade from National Mall to White house, In a bullet proof Cadillac Car Obama and his wife started the journey of 1.73 miles. Both the sides of the road thousands of people standing in the chill weather greeted the new president.

*Obama reached white house, Bush had alreaday vacated it, Obama family and Vice President family were given ceremonial reception by the white house staff.

*Then they went and stood on white house " view stand " and watched the parade of 13000 people , 90 musical, cultural and community groups.The parade passed on for hours. Band set after band sets, cultural troops after troops with colourful dresses attracted the entire audience.

*At night there was inaugural ball ( dance ) in the white house.

*Before Lincoln, Blacks were not allowed to take part in the inaugural parade, Lincoln was the first president who allowed Blacks to take part in the parade.

*Obama had become the first black president on the next day of Martin Luther King Jr memorial day ( which was yesterday ).King had said in 1965 that he had a dream, the dream had come true today. A black had become the president. Just now I saw King's son and daughter in the TV giving interview to CNN. They recalled about their father's dream.

*Washington is full of prayers, parades and parties. At famous Abraham Lincoln Memorial started day's programme.

*4,00000 people gathered for the sunday event at Washington.DC( this DC is incorporated with capital Washington because there is another Washington in US )

*Abraham Lincoln Memorial is a historical place because Black Leader Martin Luther King Jr delivered his famous speech " I HAVE A DREAM " from this memorial.

*To-day 3rd Sunday of Jan is a national holiday for entire US in memory of Martin Luther King- this is the greatest honour given to the black leader who was shot dead in 1964.

*At Abraham Lincoln Memorial best pop cultural programme was conducted which was atteded by Obama and others.

*Golf Great Tiger Woods also spoke.

*Rap fans danced to the music of county musicians. Elderly Blacks shed tears with joy.

* Joy Joy every where Joy, Black children with uniforms dancing and singing is colourful.

*Obama is not only the first African American president elected but he is son of a Muslim.

*His full name is Barack Husain Obama, Husain is his father's name, a muslim, yet US people had elected him. Democracy.

*Finally at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Obama gave a dynamic short speech without seeing any note.

The Historical Train Journey by Barack Obama !!

Every where Obama , Obama.It is Obama festiwal here.The 44th president of US started his opening of the inauguration on 17th Jan ( actual inauguration is on 20th Tuesday )

In the historical train from Philoadelphia to washington ( capital) the journey started .It was the route Abraham Lincoln travelled meeting the people, before he assumed the presidentship in 1861.

Obama and his wife Michelle along with vice president elect and his wife standing at the back edge of the train ( well protected ) travelled, meeting the people on the way.

It was 137 mile train ride, through out people waved and enchanted OBAMA.

Obama often referred to the spirit of Linclon in his speach, he said, "We are here standing simply to pay tribute to our first patriots but to take up the work that they began "

More than 250 phographers and cameramen followed him to record the historical event.

TV cameras showed, every where elderly Blacks simply shed tears when they saw Obama, for them their remote dream is coming true.

People started pouring at Washington, 20,00,000
people are expected for the inauguration.
